AusIMM members urged to consider BPEQ role

AusIMM is inviting nominations from Queensland members to represent the group on the Queensland Board of Professional Engineers.

The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (BPEQ) is an independent statutory body responsible for regulating the engineering profession across the state to help uphold the highest engineering conduct.

Up to three candidates, who are qualified under the Professional Engineers Act of 2002 (a registered professional engineer who lives, and undertakes professional engineering services predominantly, in regional Queensland) will be considered by the Queensland Government for an appointment, for a period up to three years from April 2021 to March 2024.

AusIMM will be taking nominations as part of a competitive and transparent process, to endorse to the BPEQ for consideration and welcomes nominations from a wide range of Queensland members in line with our commitment to diversity.

  • Interested members should send a two-page CV to Policy@ausimm.com for consideration by Friday, January 15.
