Tender Overview

This is a notification of a future public tender procurement activity, currently there are no documents to be downloaded, the purpose of this notification is to inform the market of this opportunity to provide data services to the Queensland Government.

Future tender Overview
The purchase of Data Services for the PSN which shall include

– Data Services for all participating PSN agencies including:
* Dark Fibre Services
* Layer 2 Data Carriage Services (Copper/Optic Fibre)
* Cellular Data Carriage Services (3G, 4G, etc.)
* Satellite Data Carriage Services
* Microwave Data Services
* Internet Services (Including NBN Connectivity Services)
* Cloud Services (Managed Data Security Services and other Cloud Based Services)
– Support Services
–  Transition Services
– ICT Contracting Services
– Training Services

It is anticipated that the contract will be for an Initial Term of five (5) years, and include five (5) optional extensions of 12 months each

The PSN Data Services are State-wide and will be used to provision data network connectivity to all PSN client sites throughout the state

Planned Tender Release – August/September 2017
Expected Time in Market (Open Offer Period) – Six (6) weeks
The PSN Data Services ITO will look to secure one or more commercial contracts with Data Service providers in the aforementioned domains

Vendors are encouraged to provide advanced notification of their interest in participating in the PSN Data Services ITO via email response.  Information provided shall include:
– Organisation Name
– Particulars of the Key Nominated Contact (including position, email contact, and phone contact details)
–  Detail regarding the Data Services (defined above) that can be provided
– Nature of Data Service provision (Primary Data Carriage Provider, Reseller, Other (please specify))
– Vendors are advised that following the release of the PSN Data Services ITO there will be an Industry Brief to facilitate an understanding of the ITO and response requirements.

Provision of Stratigraphic Drilling Services

Geoscience Australia is seeking a contractor for the provision of stratigraphic drilling and associated services to support a collaborative research project between Geoscience Australia, the Geological Survey of New South Wales, the Geological Survey of Queensland and the geoscience research community.

The purpose of the project is to undertake scientific investigations to develop a better understanding of the basement rocks of the Southern Thomson region to support a precompetitive geoscience program to encourage future mineral exploration activity.

Accordingly, Geoscience Australia invites suitably qualified contractors to submit a tender for the Requirement sought by this RFT.

The Public Trustee of Queensland aims to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for the delivery of House Clear Out, Goods and Chattel Removal services to the Clients of the Public Trust Office.

Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:

a. removal of Furniture and Effects from a property, transport and delivery;
b. specialist packing of Goods and Chattels;
c. general tidy / clean-up of the Property, post removal of Goods and Chattels; and
d. legal disposal of hazardous waste materials.

The purpose of the market sounding is to obtain feedback and gauge the level of market interest in participating in the project.
