Businesses interested in participating in the upcoming International Mining and Resources Conference + EXPO (IMARC) may receive financial support under a national grants program.
The event, scheduled for Melbourne October 25-27, has been listed on the Schedule of Approved Business Events for the Australian Government’s $50 million Business Events Grants program.
The Business Events Grant program provides delegates, including buyers and sellers, with financial support to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences, and conventions.
It is designed to help revive the events sector by supporting Australian businesses with grants between $10,000 and $250,000.
Grant funding will cover up to 50 per cent of eligible expenditure incurred in participating at the coming IMARC in Melbourne.
“After having to postpone IMARC in 2020 due to COVID-19, and launch IMARC Online, we are excited to welcome the industry back to Melbourne, in person, later this year,” IMARC managing director Anita Richards said.
