John Holland wins $45m hospital contract

John Holland has won a $45 million contract to redevelop the St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital, including the provision of 90 new beds and the first private hospital Emergency Department within Ipswich.

 The contract also includes the refurbishment of key areas within the existing hospital for Ramsay Health Care (Ramsay).

Chief executive officer Joe Barr said John Holland had industry-leading expertise in the construction of health care facilities.

“John Holland has significant experience in hospital developments, including Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and Lismore Base Hospital” he said.

Project work has commenced on site, with overall project completion scheduled for 2018.
