| Description | Townsville City Council is upgrading the peak full treatment flow capacity of its Cleveland Bay Purification Plant to meet licence requirements and contribute to an overall reduction in nutrient discharge to Cleveland Bay and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
As part of council’s commitment to maximising opportunities for local industry participation, council is convening an information session for industry appropriate and interest local sub-contractors and suppliers. The briefing will update the project status, outline the scope of work, and offer opportunity to meet with the three organisations tendering for appointment as Head Contractor. The Information Session will convene at 9.30am Tuesday 13 December 2016 at the Tony Ireland Stadium, Riverway, concluding by 12.00 noon. Doors will open to registered attendees at 9.15am. Pre-registering attendance is essential as numbers are limited and entry may be denied to unregistered where the venue’s lawful occupancy capacity is reached.
