The Department of Education and Training invites suppliers and industry representatives to a presentation providing an overview of the Early Market Engagement (EME) process and a possible subsequent procurement approach for a solution for its telephony, video conferencing and unified communication requirements.

The EME process is intended to help inform a potential procurement process in the second quarter of 2017.

The release and conduct of the EME does not necessarily guarantee that any subsequent sourcing activity will be undertaken by DET.

The presentation will run for approximately one (1) hour with time for questions at the end of the presentation.

Jemena is seeking responses to this RFT for the supply, delivery, unloading, installation (where applicable) and support of various secondary zone substation equipment categories over an initial 5 year period. The equipment categories include GPS clocks, remote terminal units, rugged switches, DC supply systems and protection and control relays. This notice is to advise that the Queensland Government, acting through the Department of Education and Training (DET), intends to commence a market sounding for the purpose of identifying options to reduce energy costs for Queensland State Schools through solar and energy efficiency measures.

Purpose

The purpose of the market sounding is to obtain feedback and gauge the level of market interest in participating in the project.

Note: This is not a tendering process and participation in the market sounding will not affect future considerations by DET, should a procurement process be undertaken.

Macrossan Camp Electrical Infrastructure Repairs

Refurbishment of electrical infrastructure including the replacement of switchboards at various buildings at Macrossan Camp. This includes the removal of redundant electrical infrastructure and replacement with new power supply feeder, general lighting, emergency lighting and general power outlets at one of the buildings.
