Design and modification of 1, 4X4 diesel cab chassis for use as a road rail inspection vehicle. 1. The first build shall be reviewed and approved by stakeholders from Queensland Rail prior to the construction of subsequent 23 road rail inspection vehicles. 2. The vehicles are to have a GVM of less than 4.5 tonnes and a wheelbase of less than 3.5 metres. 3. The modifications and fitment of rail equipment to the vehicles shall comply with regulations and allow the vehicles to be registered in Queensland. 4. The vehicles are expected to perform reliably over a 6 year period given a minimum 20,000 rail kilometres and minimum 30,000 road kilometres use per year.
